Studio Y3 calendar for English speakers
"Pottery Basics" Clay Club - maximum of 12 people, reservation reqired
(Sun) 13:00 to 17:00, April 07, 2013
Yukinori Yamamura / Lecturer, with Nozomi Kimura, Masako Nakazawa,
Fee covering 4 sessions (one each month) is ¥ 15,000
This is a beginner's course to learn the basic techniques of pottery over four months.  Come and enjoy the fun of working with clay.

Cafe Talk by Kumiko Kurachi "My German Experience".
April 13, 2013, 18:00.
Admission is free but a drink order required.
Speaker: Kumiko Kurachi (Artist), Interviewer: Mizuho Kato (Visiting Associate Professor, Osaka UniversityMuseum):
Kumiko was previously a studio artist at CAP. She has returned home for an exhibition in Osaka.
She is currently working in Dusseldorf.

Nobu's café "Books in Translation" - book exchange.
April 14, Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Featuring a special menu by Shimoda Nobuhisa / hot dogs. Participation is free.
We will limit the collection to translations of foreign novels.  If you would like to exchange some books, please join us and let me know about the books you plan to bring. I will provide the list of titles on the blog.

Saturday Club: "Let's make a small picture book!"  [reservations required]
April 27, 2013 (Sat), 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Instructor: IKAI Mami (Artist)
 Fee: 1,500 yen (including the cost of materials). Participants should be Age 4 to adults (Children younger than 3rd graders should be accompanied by an adult.)
Make a one of a kind picture book of your own. A story is fun and easy to create, playing with words. There will be a storytelling presentation at the end of the workshop.
